BELINDA & RYAN
The Client Belinda and Ryan envisioned an elegant yet modern celebration at the historic Freemasons Hall on North Terrace. They sought to marry the venue's old-world charm with a contemporary touch, creating a sophisticated cocktail-style event that felt both timeless and chic.
The Fitout The event design embraced the architectural grandeur of the Freemasons Hall while incorporating sleek and stylish furniture choices. The ceremony took place in the hall’s entrance, where the rich heritage of the space set the tone for an intimate and refined gathering. Our Benni Dining Chairs and Bar Chairs in luxurious liquorice velvet paired seamlessly with black Pippa Bar Tables, maintaining a balance between the venue’s classic aesthetic and the modern edge the couple desired.
For the main reception, the hall was arranged in a symmetrical layout, using Bobby Long Curved Lounges in buttercream alongside Pippa Café Tables in black. This combination of black and white created a striking contrast, adding a contemporary flair while honouring the venue’s timeless architecture. The centrepiece of the setup was a stunning four-sided bar, crafted from four Soho Bars with canopies, positioned perfectly in the space. The styling played with a sophisticated palette of black and white, softened by the warm tones of the buttercream lounges. This contrast between light and dark brought depth to the space, highlighting the classic features of the venue while introducing modern elegance. The dance floor, bordered by Benni and Pippa cocktail furniture, became the centre of celebration, where guests enjoyed a lively evening against the backdrop of the hall’s grand arches. The arrangement was carefully curated to balance the rich, historic setting with contemporary elements, creating a unique blend of past and present.
The Event The evening’s flow felt effortless, with guests transitioning from the elegant ceremony to the chic cocktail reception. The bar became a social hub for guests throughout the evening, offering a central gathering point. Around the bar, the lounge areas invited guests to relax and enjoy the ambiance, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The mix of black and white furniture frames created striking visuals, enhancing the atmosphere while allowing the venue's heritage features to shine.
The Team Bringing Belinda and Ryan's vision to life was a collaborative effort. White Marquee worked alongside Venue Productions, whose dynamic lighting design added a vibrant energy to the space, creating an atmosphere that transformed as the night progressed. Studio Botanic's lush floral arrangements seamlessly integrated with our bar setup, adding a natural touch that complemented the modern aesthetic. The event was expertly styled and coordinated by Love Love Mia and Events by Charlotte, bringing every element together with precision. Indulgence delivered a dining experience that left a lasting impression, while the attentive service from Are You Being Served ensured guests felt cared for throughout the evening.
