Joe’s 60th birthday was a milestone celebration held on the iconic Archway lawns of the South Australian Museum. Joe and his family envisioned an elegant, black-tie event that combined sophistication with a lively atmosphere. Their goal was to create a night of unforgettable memories surrounded by close friends and family, set against the grandeur of the museum’s historic architecture.

The Build
For the first time, the Soho Arc marquee was seen at the South Australian Museum. The structure featured glass gables and a sleek sliding door entrance, providing an inviting and seamless connection between the outdoor space and the event inside. The build was secured using black box cladded weights, ensuring both stability and a polished appearance. The open design of the glass gables allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of the museum’s surroundings while being comfortably sheltered within the marquee.

The Event
As guests arrived in their finest attire, they were welcomed into the glowing Soho Arc marquee. The evening flowed seamlessly from cocktails to dancing, with the open design of the structure offering a perfect balance between indoor elegance and outdoor charm. The atmosphere was lively, yet refined, as guests celebrated under the stars.

The Team
The success of Joe’s 60th birthday celebration was made possible by a talented team of suppliers. Out in the Paddock took care of creative direction, styling, coordination, catering, staffing, and florals, ensuring every detail was expertly handled. Venue Productions provided the stunning feature chandelier, while Entertainment Adelaide handled the live music, featuring a performance by Miss Philippa Grace, with a white grand piano supplied by Brighton Pianos. Flooring was supplied by SA Staging, and the stage was constructed by Global Staging. The day’s unforgettable moments were captured by Brey Fuentes, with custom signage provided by The Little Laser Co.
