Tour Down Under '25
The Client
The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) once again entrusted White Marquee with providing premier event structures and furniture for the 2025 Santos Tour Down Under. The Tour Village at Victoria Square remained the heart of the festival, offering a central hub for fan engagement, hospitality, and event activations.
The Build
At the Tour Village, White Marquee constructed a series of purpose-built structures designed to cater to large crowds and the dynamic nature of the event. The standout feature was a 35m-long white A-frame marquee with open walls, creating a seamless and welcoming space for guests. Additional structures included Black Series, Curved Roof, and A-Frame marquees strategically placed to enhance the experience for attendees.
The Fitout
White Marquee’s furniture was spread throughout the entire Tour Down Under, creating stylish and functional spaces across South Australia. The Pippa collection was seen in the Tour Village and Stirling, offering comfortable and modern seating. The Arrow range was featured prominently throughout the stages, seamlessly integrating into various event spaces. Betty pieces stood out as feature elements, bringing a distinct and sophisticated touch to key areas. Our umbrellas—including Sonora, Scallop, and Stripe—were positioned throughout the tour, providing both shade and aesthetic appeal. The Pippa and Sonora ranges were also showcased in the East End stage, blending seamlessly into the vibrant atmosphere.
The Event
The Tour Village was a vibrant and engaging space throughout the event, welcoming cycling enthusiasts, media, and spectators. Designed to encourage movement and interaction, the layout allowed guests to seamlessly navigate between activations, dining areas, and entertainment zones. The thoughtful integration of furniture and structures ensured a comfortable and immersive experience for all attendees.
The Team
White Marquee was proud to collaborate with SATC to bring the Tour Village to life. Boltz Electrical managed electrical systems to ensure seamless power distribution, while Apollo Events provided staging solutions for key presentations and activations. Adelaide Expo Hire designed and installed exposition walls for displays and branding, and Snap Modular crafted custom bar setups to enhance hospitality areas. Hygge led the styling, bringing cohesion and sophistication to the event spaces. Cool Breeze supplied air conditioning to maintain guest comfort, and East End Cellars provided expert bar staff to deliver a premium hospitality experience.
The 2025 Santos Tour Down Under was a resounding success, and White Marquee is honoured to have played a role in delivering an exceptional experience for guests. Our collaboration with SATC and industry-leading partners ensured that the event upheld its reputation as Australia’s premier cycling festival.
